Canada
day in Silver Harbour is well celebrated and 2015 was no exception. A
good crowd of friends and neighbours gathered once again at the Arnes
Hall for the enthusiastic singing of O Canada. (88 voices!!) Then, in
one of Silver
Harbour's long-standing traditions, George Einarson honoured the
Canadian flag and explained its origin and significance.
Following
the hearty lunch of hotdogs and the awarding of door prizes, President
Dave Curry thanked the many volunteers who hosted the gathering and, on
behalf of the Association, wished one and all a Happy Canada Day:
- ".....
