Welcome to the Silver Harbour Property Owners Association Website!

This website is dedicated to serving the needs of property owners, seasonal and year-round residents of Silver Harbour. Silver Harbour is one of the Interlake's best kept country residential secrets!

Silver Harbour is the northern-most subdivision in the RM of Gimli. This development was started by George Penner over 40 years ago. Today it consists of 296 serviced lots - 202 have homes or cottages on them and 94 are waiting development. Like most subdivisions in Gimli, Silver Harbour has become a year round community with 81 homes occupied by permanent residents and 121 by seasonal residents. Our population varies from about 135 during the winter to more than 400 in the summer.

As property owners we need to be concerned that our community is treated as the valuable asset it has become. That means being vigilant in ensuring services are appropriately delivered, the infrastructure is properly maintained and that changes and developments in our neighbourhood are appropriate and consistent with our evolving community standards.

Our Mission Statement

 Our goal is to represent and further the interests of all residents of the community, by liaising with various agencies and governments;  and to keep our members informed of political issues and local developments.

We endeavour to promote the spirit of a cohesive community by organizing social and recreational events and by encouraging a safe, environmentally responsible and respectful community.
